Thanks for the magical fish platter for 2 on the 2nd Christmas Day. Prepared for the eye and made for the palate. That was a really delicious feast. ? Always happy, for the time being to go one more time and hopefully again in the restaurant shortly. Is sooooo cozy and nice with you. Thank you, thank you, thank you ?

A wonderful restaurant, fresh cuisine and friendly service round off the evening. The prices of the dishes are cheap and the taste is wonderful (we recommend the fish platter and fried fish). When we go on vacation to Saxon Switzerland again, we'll come back.

A very nice ambience and a nice service stood out. The fish soup was perfect. In contrast to my wife's dish, my fish could have been released from the frying pan a little earlier :)

Everything just fits here. The food is great, as well as the ambience, the nice staff. All very friendly and nice. The prices are really cheap for what is on offer. We were only at the Baltic Sea and there are different prices. All in all just great and I can only recommend it to everyone. By the way, my husband ate a beef steak, which was delicious too. So you can eat meat for those who don't like fish.

There were four of us a week. We had reserved a table beforehand, the place was quite full. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for the menu, our starter came after about three quarters of an hour's stay and after a total of over 1.5 hours in the restaurant, our main course came punctually when the kitchen closed. Maybe there was not enough staff that evening. 2 of my friends had fried potatoes as a side dish, they were burnt and tasted like that, looked like the last crumbs from the pan. After such a long wait we left the dessert. With the bill for a total of 4 people, it was mentioned in passing that the card device is broken and only cash payments are possible. Too bad.

We spontaneously dined here without prior notice and were lucky enough to get a seat and it was worth it. The staff were friendly, the food came quickly and we enjoyed every gram. We had the fish platter and what we found great: the individual types of fish were labeled with flags. We'll definitely stop by again on our next vacation nearby.

Super, super friendly staff and super tasty food, both the fish for my friend and the vegetarian alternative for me. I can only recommend it!

A great restaurant. Unfortunately we didn't make a reservation, but we were lucky to get one of the last free tables in the middle of the week. One thing we noticed immediately: the service was very friendly despite the full restaurant. After a short waiting time the drinks arrived and shortly afterwards the starters. Goat cheese and fish soup which were very tasty. The main course was fried fish with crispy fried potatoes and a skewer that was perfectly fried. The prices of the meals are almost too cheap for the good quality.

We were delighted to see a restaurant serving fish when we were looking for a place to eat in Pirna. They gave us a reserved table when we promised to be quick. The food was excellent and plenty for a normal price. It's probably best to reserve a table if you want to go in the evening. The menu offers some free choice of sides. Overall very nice.

We were quite lucky that we got a table for 4 without a reservation. I shared a mixed plate with my friend and it was really delicious. Not only were the various fish filets yummy, the side dish and the vegetables were great too. The staff was also very courteous. If you like seafood, you cannot miss this restaurant if you are in Pirna. The only complaint I have is that the portion is so big that I cannot finish all the food which is really a pity. You should also make a reservation in advance.

We were here today and were lucky that a table was still free frei. No wonder with the delicious food, very friendly, attentive and courteous staff?! I have seldom been served so well, and that in a very busy restaurant. Big compliments to the whole team! ? So if you are in the mood for good fresh fish, you should definitely eat here!

Super tasty fish! We were in the ship gate twice. The first time we had the large fish platter with four side dishes. We can only recommend them. Everything was very delicious. The waitresses were also very friendly and accommodating. As a starter, there was delicious homemade bread with aioli on the house. In addition, we were the only one in this restaurant to get a table without a reservation, which is very difficult in the main season in Pirna. We have often seen the other restaurants badly manage the existing tables and reservations. This was not the case here at all. The staff has a very good overview of the tables and tried to find a solution for each guest.

Looking for food, we came across this restaurant and what can we say, we were lucky again. Nice ambience down to the smallest detail. An absolutely clean toilet and extremely attentive service. My fish with fried potatoes in mustard sauce was delicious and my wife and son were also very happy with their schnitzel. Very nice little beer garden, just great.

Were there for dinner and just got a table without a reservation (tip: reserve, since it was super full from 1830 o'clock). The place is super comfortably furnished and the staff was friendly and attentive. Price / performance for the fish fillets with 2 side dishes, which you can choose yourself, absolutely given. We had the halibut and the daily recommendation sea bass. All in all absolutely recommendable and super delicious!

Today I tried 2 fish restaurants and I really liked the ship gate. The kitchen can easily compete with fish restaurants on the coast. Good creative food.

Very nicely decorated and lovingly decorated restaurant with super friendly service. We were there twice, the mixed fish platter was very tasty. On the second visit we ordered fried asparagus, which unfortunately still had some sandy heads and a stick was badly peeled. Apart from that, we can fully recommend the restaurant.

What a nice restaurant ... Everything is right here. Very harmonious decor and stylishly decorated. There is also very nice and courteous service, a good and clear menu and excellent quality of the dishes. Keep it up... Definitely a flagship restaurant.

As a fish farmer I have already ordered fish in some restaurants, and seen and received quite a lot. But the master at the hearth understands his craft. From the starter to the cappuccino to the dessert. Everything is perfect? And then the ambience, all top.
